To All Family and Friends of Heather,
I worked with Heather for several years at Southlake Regional Health Centre, formerly known as York County Hospital
in Newmarket.
She was a proponent of continuing education and many of the staff were beneficiaries of the Diabetic Teaching Manual that she developed for the Paediatric Department.
Heather had a wicked sense of humour and no one was spared her practical jokes, not nurses, doctors or patients.
One Easter Sunday comes to mind!
Anyone who knew Heather well, will undoubtedly remember that tale of " Ester Bunne "
