Obituary of Heather Munro

Heather Munro ~ 

At her home in Pickering on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, Heather Ann Munro, at the age of 65 years.

Cherished by her sister Peggy & Bob Pike of Wingham, and her nieces Carolyn & Damien Cavanough of Sydney, Australia, Lesley Pike of Toronto, Jennifer & Chris Hammond, and Deborah & Tim Good, all of Listowel, and Marianne & Doug Bell of Heidelberg.  Loving Great Auntie Heather to Parker, Maddie, and Kennedy Cavanough, Remmi, Maiya, Miles, and Nate Good, Mackenzie, Scarlett, and Oliver Bell. 

Predeceased by her parents Reginald and Lois (Gardner) Munro, and special aunts, uncles and cousins in the Gardner, Rogers and Munro families. 

Heather was a wonderful and compassionate nurse and diabetes educator in the greater Toronto area for many years, as well as briefly in the Northwest Territories and in the Wingham area.  She was blessed to have good friends close by in these past few years of failing health, and will be missed by all whose lives she touched.  She loved the Lord and was looking forward to spending eternity with Him.

A private family service will be held.  Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or World Vision would be appreciated, and may be made through the McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham.
