Tineke, Klaas, and Annette and families - From afar, my deepest sympathies to all of you from myself, and your other cousins here in Edmonton and in British Columbia. I know you have not met most of us but we share your grief at this difficult time. I have a trip planned to Ontario in August and I was looking forward to visiting with my Uncle Klaas one more time. He was truly fine and good-hearted man. I mourn his loss. Ray Jorritsma

So sorry to hear of the loss of your father, grandfather, and a true friend. Klaas often reminded me about being afraid of he and his parents when I was a small child living on the farm. They lived across the road (5th of East Wawanosh) upon their arrival from their homeland and would visit our farm for eggs and at that time their English was still not the best. Years later we ended up both working at F. E Madill Secondary School as Klaas was a custodian and I was a secretary/TRA. We often reminisced. Goodbye to a wonderful man, Valdeane Gedcke

Our heart felt condolences to all the family of Klaas Jorristma. I knew Klaas, my Omke, before he ever married Jantje and remember when her arrived at our door step. He was handsome a bit of a flirt. When I saw last year he still had a gilt in his eye and was still a flirt. I will miss him. Sorry for your pain. Carmen and bob Jonson

I knew your Dad before he married your Mom and the last time I visited with him he still had that trademark gleam in his eyes. He loved to filrt, but ever only loved one.
