Obituary of Klaas Jorritsma

At Wingham & District Hospital on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, Mr. Klaas Jorritsma, formerly of R.R.#3, Wingham, age  88 years.

Beloved husband of the late Jantje "Jennie" (Bakker) Jorritsma who predeceased him in 1996. Loving father of  Tineke Jorritsma & friend Michael Waldin of Toronto, Annette & Andrew te Raa of Goderich, Klaas & Shelley Jorritsma of Brussels. Cherished Pake of Mitchell te Raa & Katie, Janelle te Raa & Brandan, Joshua & Jess Jorritsma and Richelle & Ryan Smith. Great-Pake of Alice, Saleena, and Elsy Jorritsma and Aleah and Pierce Smith. Brother of Hendrik & Chris Jorritsma. Brother-in-law of Dieuwke Martens, Bakke & Jacobes Cupido, Rein & Grietje Bakker and Anneke Jorritsma. Predeceased by his grandson André te Raa, siblings Anne (Beppe), Steffen, Geertje, Jitte, Sietze, three siblings in childhood, brothers-in-law Jan Bakker (Tryntje), John Martens, and sisters-in-law Janna Reitsma (Sybren), and Wybrig de Haan (Cornelius)

Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Friday from, 11:30 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon. Pastor Gary Fischer officiating. Final resting place, Wingham Cemetery.
