For many years Miss Cruickshank inspired countless students teaching English and History at F.E. Madill Secondary School in Wingham, Ontario. She also served a term as the Local President of the OSSTF. This was her happiest time; she loved to teach. She proudly pointed out all her former students as she was out and about in the community.
She enjoyed travel, golfing, politics, family time, Tina Turner’s music, she was an ardent Leafs and Detroit Tigers fan and she had an uncanny knack for picking winners in the weekly football pool.
There will be a private family graveside service in the spring.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
All things beloved live on in our hearts forever.
