Obituary of Darlene Payne

At Listowel Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, April 03, 2018, Darlene Payne of Gorrie went home to be with her Lord & Saviour at the age of 59.

Devoted wife of Cecil Payne of Gorrie. Loving mother of Hailey & Darren Hartwick of Kincardine, Alexis & Norris Brown of Ayton and Scott Payne & Ginni Reeve of Ethel. Dear grandmother of Rowland, Miller, Malcolm, Mahalah and Moynia. Cherished sister of Heather Gerber & Paul of Stratford and Wayne Paff & Melissa of Granton. Sister-in-law of Stephen & Lynda Payne of Wroxeter, John & Dale Payne of Wroxeter, Julie & Larry Cardiff of Southampton, Bonnie & Les Brewer of Field, Vicki & Kevin Carter of Listowel, and Jeff & Kelly Payne of Fordwich. Darlene will be lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews, her best friend Jan Wylie and her church family, who she loved and adored. Predeceased by her parents Gordon & Vivian Paff, her parents-in-law Harvey & Marjorie Payne and brother-in-law George Payne.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home Wingham, on Friday, from 6:00-8:00 pm. Memorial Service will be held at Fordwich BIC Community Church on Saturday at 11:00 am. Pastor Mike Hutchinson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Love Made Real Ministries would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
