I have fond memories of all the times they helped my parents and brothers and I when I was in the hospital. All the times up north. All good times. We think that we bought one of my first cars from Doug & Marion. It always held me in good stead. I was a city girl moved to the country and often had. to either drive myself out of a ditch or get pulled. Either way the car I bought from the Fischers did its job. As members of the Wingham and surrounding community for over 40 years we cannot help but realize all the waves and ripples that this leaves in the Fischer Family and the Community. Over 22 years ago we worked with Doug at Monoway Farms between Belgrave and Brussels. Your dad was an amazing employee in the pig barns who had such a huge caring heart! Then later when we would come to the restaurant in Wroxeter we were treated like kings and queens. Neil thought the world of Doug!
I hardly know what to type because I cannot even begin to fathom your heartache! The only thing we know to do is...Pray!!
We are praying for the entire family. We were blessed to have met Doug and Marian all those years ago!
