Obituary of Elgin Hogg

At Wingham & District Hospital on Monday, January 29, 2018, Mr. Elgin Hogg of Wingham, in his 83rd year. Husband of the late Marie (Schneller) Hogg who predeceased him in 1995. Dear father of Sandra Dorsch of Belgrave, Douglas & Katy Hogg of Durham, Shirley & Tom Kreller of St. Jacobs. Cherished grandfather of Amanda & Kelly White, Melinda Dorsch & Nick Cook, Jesse, Cody and Danielle Hogg and Teresa and Chris Kreller. Great-grandfather of Alexis, Connor, Kiera, Rowan, Keagan and Bryson. Elgin will be lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Ann Hogg and nephews Ken Hogg (Angela) and Kevin Hogg (Stacy). Predeceased by his parents Robert & Pearl (Dawson) Hogg and brothers Kenneth and Raymond Hogg.

Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, on Friday, 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am. Brian Hymers and Denise Walker officiating. Interment will take place in the spring in Wingham Cemetery.
