Verna - please accept my condolences on Jim's passing. I truly enjoyed conversations with him in the brief time I knew him in the nursing home and he was very proud of his teaching career and his vast knowledge. I would always ask him to verify issues on geography or history and he was happy to answer!

As a former principal of Sacred Heart in Wingham, I can honestly say that Jim’s spirit is alive in the halls and classrooms of the school. He was the second longest serving principal of that school community. Living across the road from the school, I saw Jim often and he always had a story to share about the school’s history. He will be missed by so many. Prayers and condolences to the entire Steffler Family.
