My sincerest condolences to the Stainton families. I have many happy memories as a young child visiting the Stainton hardware store, next to my father's store, at Christmas. Barb was always very kind to me while browsing through all of the toys Santa would hopefully bring. My brother and I always went to Barb's house on Hallowe'en as she handed out homemade fudge candy. She always took time to chat with us at the store. My father chastised us for going over to the store so much and Barb and her dad, Percy, told my father to let us come. Please accept my sympathies at this sad time.
