I'm so sorry for this tremendous loss. I went to Easter seals camp with Luke for many years and saw him at the telethons as well. He was a wonderful person who I really learned alot from. I admired his attitude and how he didn't let his disability stop him. I will always remember him in the most positive of ways and I hope you find comfort in knowing that he made a mark in this world unlike any other. May he rest in peace. My condolences

I was so saddened to hear of Luke's passing. He was such an inspiration to me, with his positive attitude, and caring nature. He was truly and old soul! I will always remember him playing floor hockey during recess at school, and never wanting to be the centre of attention, he was very modest. He was always talking about hockey, his family, and the trips to Toronto he would take. He was a role model for all and he fought for those with disabilities. I remember when Luke and Zane helped open the Southampton Park, and when they were on TVO kids - there they were creating awareness! Luke will be missed by everyone who met him, i feel honoured to have known and worked with him. My heart is heavy and my thoughts are with you.

Losing a precious child is about the worst thing that can happen to you in this lifetime. I had the pleasure of talking with Luke at Lynda and Dave's 50th Anniversary in Goderich. My heart goes out to all of Luke's family, especially to his brother Zane who will be lost without his brother.
To Zane: I cannot tell you that I know how you feel about the passing of Luke because I have never been there, but I want you to know that you are in my heart today and in the days ahead.
