Rosemary, Dan, Jen, Bev, Brenda and Brian.
Please accept my most sincere sympathies for your loss. I have memories of Bob as far back and I can remember, since we grew up only 3 doors apart on Maple Street. Bob was like a bonus big brother as much as he was the larger than life gentle giant that my brothers and I enjoyed being around. The LaRose family home was open and welcome and my family spent a lot of time there including many times around the dinner table. Bob's laughter was always infectious and his determination persistent. I recall the last time I saw Bob was at the Red Lobster in Kitchener. Bob greeted us with a big smile and a friendly chat just like we still lived down the street. May the pain and grief of this tremendous loss eventually give way to the many wonderful memories of love and good times that Bob most certainly left behind.

My deepest sympathies to you Rosemary, Danny, Lynn, Jen and the boys.
It's not easy and nothing anyone says will take the pain of loosing such a great influence in your lives so early and so quickly.
It seems like I've known Bob and your family my whole life and in the wake of our own grieving still for mom I can identify with how you all are feeling at this time. I'm told "time heals" but that's not true, you and everyone who Bob touched will feel his absence for a very long time, the pain will go away but your memories will never, hold onto them, enjoy them and take comfort in what you had together as a family, all the good times camping, hunting and fishing, celebrations and family gatherings, he will always be with you in your heart and memories. If there is anything we can do just ask, we are here for you even if it's just a shoulder to lean on to cry or to reminisce about the time we had with Hippo and how he made us laugh.
Our families thoughts and prayers are with you all.
