I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. My deepest sympathies. It is a difficult time in your lives but sitting around the table telling stories of your different memories can be therapeutic. Know you are not alone during this sad time and know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Mrs. MacKay (it doesn't feel right calling her by her first name), was a lovely woman who put a smile on people's faces and a kind heart!
I'm sure your Dad was there waiting for your Mom. Both your Mom and Dad will be watching over you now. Hugs to the whole family.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of a wonderful person. In my youngest years of growing up in the late 1950s, early 1960s it was great neighbours like the MacKay family that gave me so many fond memories. Mrs. MacKay always welcomed us kids in the neighbourhood into her home. I remember spending hours playing with Trudy in her house & making chocolate coconut cookies with Mrs. MacKay. I can still remember the ringlets Mrs. MacKay would do in Trudy's hair for school. Never did I ever feel more comfortable in someone's home as I did at MacKays. Thank you Mrs. MacKay for all the great memories.
Sincerely
Trudy Archer
