I had the privilege of working with Ruth at Wingham Hospital for several years. She was such a joy and professional nurse to work with and always someone that I was happy to have on shift with me. She also reached out to me when I had my cancer battle, and provided me with encouragement.
The loss of Ruth will be felt by many, and I hope it helps in some small way your families to know that your grief as well as memories of Ruth are shared by many.

I worked with Ruth at WDH for several years and wanted to say I am sorry for your loss.
Ruth was truly a wonderful nurse and a great co-worker. She was a good role model for
the younger nurses with qualities to strive for. Although, small in stature she had a
big heart and showed her patients she truly cared for their health and well being. We
had some fun times together as well as some challenging shifts when I drew from Ruth's
years of experience. I always enjoyed working with her and will miss her friendly smile.
She never made me feel like the new kid on the block, but a valuable member of her team.

Dear Neil and family and the Coultes family:
Sometimes there are just no words that truly express the feelings of loss and sadness. Our memories of Ruth span one of Barry growing up knowing her as a neighbour and I as someone that we met at family reunions, played ball on Norman and Mary's front yard when we made the treck to East Wawanosh. Later on, it was to be neigbours where our kids were the same age and we were able to see you as a nurse who was well loved in the community. May you be able to cherish the memories that were made. Hi Joanne, I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom. I didn't know she was sick. That's a great picture of her. I wish I could give you a hug. It has always helped me to think of my mom up in heaven watching over me and worrying about me and giving me advice and ... kind of yelling at me sometimes.
