Obituary of Helen Casserly

After a courageous battle with cancer, passed away at Wingham & District Hospital, with her family by her side on Friday, August 26, 2005, Mrs. Helen Casserly of Wingham, formerly of Sudbury age 68 years. Her family meant everything to her and she will be dearly missed. In the 50th year of their marraige she was the much loved wife of Bernie. Cherished mother of James Casserly of Wingham, Bernard Jr. and Sue Casserly of Sudbury, Edward and Tina Casserly of Harriston, Mary Jane and Claude Irwin of Listowel and Eileen and Louie Greenlough of Sudbury. Loving mother-in-law of Tricia Casserly. Devoted "Mangy" of Melissa, Stephanie, Kevin, James, Joey, Jessica, Sarah, Mallory and Nigel. Great-Mangy to Tyra and Scott. She was the dear sister of Mary Olsen of Edmonton, Alberta, Alice Petry of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, her brother Alex Boyle of Sudbury, and sister-in-law Madeline Boyle of Sudbury, Predeceased by her parents Jean and Barney Boyle, brothers Richard, Charlie and Jim sister Christina Lepage, and her granddaughter Rebecca "Lucy". Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Sunday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Parish Vigil Service will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 3:45 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Monday at 11:00 am. Father John Johnson officiating. Cremation with placement of ashes later in Sudbury. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Huron County Humane Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
