Obituary of Joan Burnell Brighton

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Thursday, December 01, 2005, Mrs. Joan Brighton of R.R # 1 Wingham, age 66 years. The former Joan McKay, beloved wife of Lloyd. Dear mother of Richard of Barrie and Terry and Darlene of Wingham. Loving grandmother to Dustin, Danielle and Joshua. Also survived by her step-mother Jean McKay of Turnberry Estates and her mother-in-law Erma Brighton of Brussels. Sister to Howard of Barrie, Gale of Wingham, John of Vancouver, B.C, and Tom of Wingham. Predeceased by her daughter Cathy Brighton (1989), her parents John McKay and Janet Stokes, brother Barry and sister Jean. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Sunday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm Memorial services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1 :30 pm. Reverend Len Myers officiating. Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or a Charity of Choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
