Obituary of Arnold Thomson

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Wednesday, May 31, 2006, Mr. Arnold Thomson of Wingham, age 89 years. Beloved husband of the former June Morrison. Dear father of Sharon and Douglas Kilpatrick of R.R. # 3, Durham, Dale and Frank Scott of Spruce Grove, Alberta and Douglas and Elizabeth Thomson of Cambridge. Father-in-law of Jerald Hayden of R.R. # 2, Bluevale. Also survived by sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his daughter Jill Hayden in 2002 and by siblings Emily, Florence, Jack, Art, Alice, Dan, Winnifred, Margaret, Noreen, Esther and Doris. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Friday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Wingham Baptist Church on Saturday at 1:30 pm. Pastor Gary Fischer officiating. Interment in South Kinloss Cemetery, Kinloss Township. Memorial donations to Wingham Baptist Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
