Obituary of Roy Maurice Pennington

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Sunday, October 15, 2006, Roy Pennington of South Bruce (Culross Township), age 67 years. Warden of the County of Bruce in 1988. Beloved husband of the former Betty Alton. Survived by his children Lois and Bob Ross of Waterloo, Allan and Valerie Pennington of Whitechurch and Lorne Pennington of Guelph, his grandchildren Alexander and Amanda Ross and Megan and Emily Pennington. Brother of Edith Schmidt of Wingham, Everett and Kathleen Pennington of Teeswater and Ray and Donna Pennington of Walkerton. Predeceased by his parents Carl and Vera (Strong) Pennington, his granddaughter Dawn Marie Ross (1991) his brother George Pennington and his sister Irene Hayden. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Tuesday, 7:00-9:00 pm. and Wednesday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm Funeral service will be held at Wingham United Church on Thursday at 1:30 pm. Reverend Donald Pletsch officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario.
