Obituary of Hilda V. Brown

At Wingham & District Hospital on Sunday, January 25, 2015, Mrs. Hilda Brown of Wingham, at the age of 96. 

The former Hilda Loughlean, beloved wife of the late Walter Brown who predeceased her in 1982. Mother of Wayne and Lorna Brown of Wingham, Sharon and Robert Jones of Orangeville, and Bill Brown of Listowel. Mother-in-law of Jim and Joanne Swan of London. Sister of Bernice Adams of Owen Sound and Yvonne Shantz of Ayr. Also survived by grandchildren Jay, Jeff, Susan, Tim, Heather, Bruce, Barbara, Julie and Alison and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter Gwen Swan, great-grandson Sean, brothers Vic, Bob, Charlie, Watt and Clark Loughlean and by her sister Vernie McIntosh.

Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Wednesday, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Private funeral service will be held at McBurney Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday. Her nephews John McIntosh and Brian Shantz officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation or the Wingham Sportsman Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
