Obituary of Melvin Duncan Jermyn

At St. Mary's Hospital, on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, Mr. Mel Jermyn of R.R # 2 Bluevale, age 79 years. Beloved husband of the former Olive McIntosh. Dear father of Gladys and Murray Munro of R.R # 1 Tiverton, Ruth and Ren Siblock of Burlington and Bruce and Joyce Jermyn of Cambridge. Loving grandfather of Stephanie, Denver and Quincy Jermyn, Stanley and Jasper Munro. Brother-in-law of Doris Duncan of New Hamburg. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Duncan and Gladys Brewer, his adoptive parents Wesley and Bertha Jermyn, brothers Jack Brewer, Donald Duncan and sisters Dorothy Schade, Verna Penner and Elizabeth Gower. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Thursday, 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 2:00 pm. Pastor Joan Tuchlinsky officiating. Spring interment in Brussels Cemetery, Morris Township. Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Bluevale United Church or a charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
