Obituary of Irene Gertrude Gannett

At Fordwich Village Nursing Home, on Monday, December 25, 2006, Mrs. Irene Gannett of Fordwich, formerly of Wingham age 91 years. The former Irene Armstrong beloved wife of the late Thomas Wilbur Gannett who predeceased her in 1979. Dear mother of Susan and Andrew Foxton and Beverly and Deryl Price all of Wingham. Loving grandmother of seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. Predeceased by her parents William John Armstrong and Gertrude Irene (Burrows), her brother Rev. Jack Armstrong and her sister Gladys Ings. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Thursday, from 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday at 1:30 pm. Pastor Gary Fischer officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to the Canadian Bible Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
