Obituary of Roy Robert Anderson

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Wednesday, July 19, 2006, Mr. Roy Anderson of Wingham, age 77 years. Beloved husband of the former Shirley Jackson. Dear father of Glen and Mary Anderson, Judy Anderson and her friend Ralph Moore of St. Catherines, Laura and Robert Bridge of Brussels, Neil Anderson of Wingham and Carol Anderson and Brenda Christie of Point Clark. Loving grandfather of Glen Jr., Cory, Tyler, Micheal, Amy, Kelly, Jill, Andrea and Scott. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Winnifred (Fries) Anderson and by two brothers. Roy was a police officer with the Ontario Provincial Police. He retired from the Mount Forest Detachment with the rank of Staff Sergeant in 1986 after 35 years of service. Private memorial service will be held at McBurney Funeral Home on Friday. Reverernd Wayne Beamer officiating.
