Obituary of Doris Louise Adams

At Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home, on Monday, May 25, 2015, Doris Adams, formerly of Wroxeter, in her 100th year. Dear aunt of Bill Ste. Marie and friend Isobel, the late Andy Ste. Marie, George, Helen, Wilma, Grace, Viola, Esther, Rosemary and David. Doris was the younger daughter of William and Alberta (Hastie) Elliott. She was predeceased by her husband Andy Adams in 1952, whom she married in 1939, and by her sister Jean (George) Ste. Marie in 1989. Doris lived her entire life in Turnberry Township, maintaining the family farm where she was born, (Lot twenty-six, Concession C). She attended Wroxeter Continuation School, and was a member of Wroxeter United Church. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Thursday from noon until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 pm. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment in Wroxeter Cemetery, Howick Township. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. ©
