At Wingham & District Hospital, on Tuesday, October 23, 2007, Mrs. Mary Alice Smits of Wingham, age 67 years. The former Mary Alice Armstrong beloved wife of Harold Smits. Dear mother of Peter and Monica Smits of Wingham, Paul and Linda Smits of Whitechurch and Mary and Greg Crawford of London. Loving grandmother of Carlin, Clay and Chase. Sister of Helen Ann Armstrong of Wingham. Predeceased by her parents Bert and Verda (Procter) Armstrong. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Friday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Memorial services will be held at the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am. Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
