Obituary of Lloyd George Elliott

Born August 15, 1921 Sally and Almajane are sad to announce the passing of their father Lloyd, with his family by his side, at Sunnyside Home in Kitchener on Thursday, November 1, 2007. We are at peace that he has now joined our mother Jane (Jean). Together Mom and Dad built their lives in Wingham and nothing was more important to them than their family, their friends and their community. Although in their later years they both had to come to the city for their care, they always felt that Wingham was their home. Lloyd was a veteran of WWII and continued lifelong friendships with many of his comrads at Branch 180, Royal Canadian Legion. Beloved husband of the late Jean (Town) Elliott who predeceased him in 2003. Survived by his daughter Almajane Knoll (Paul) of Edmonton and their sons Dan of Edmonton and Darren currently stationed in Esquimalt B.C., daughter Sally Clark (Tim) of Kitchener, their daughter Sarajane and their son Jason (Dianne) of Kitchener. Brother of Edna Davis and Dorothy Ryan both of Wingham. Uncle to Linda. Catherine, Greg, Douglas and Brad. Sister-in-law of Marilouise Howard of Plattsville and Beryl Elliott of Wingham.
