Obituary of Edward Bruce Acton

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Thursday, November 22, 2007, Mr. Bruce Acton of Braemar, Wingham age 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Henry) Acton who predeceased him in 1990. Dear father of Mary Cochrane of Owen Sound, Jane Schreinert and Susan and Bill Tolton of Wingham. Brother of Margaret and Walter Gross of Hanover. Also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his son-in-law Bob Cochrane his brother "Punch" Acton and his sister Evelyn Etsell. Private funeral service will be held at McBurney Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario.
