Obituary of Mildred Catherine Cullen

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Saturday, January 19, 2008, Mrs. Mildred Cullen of Wingham, age 81 years. Dear mother of John and Wendy Cullen of Forest, Grace and Gordon Groenveld of Egmondville and Doyle and Cathi Cullen of R.R. # 1, Clinton. Sister of Mary McFarlan of R.R. # 1, Holyrood, and Florence Shackleton of Tiverton. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren David and Susan Cullen, Sarah Cullen, Christine and Sean Gosse, Kara Lee Potter, BJ. and Ang Cullen, Greg and Lisa Cullen, Joy and Mike Lindsay and Dan Cullen. Great-grandmother of Lauren Gosse, Helen Lindsay and Jake Cullen. Predeceased by husband Roy Cullen, grandson Jonathan Potter, her sisters Pearl Harcourt and Lavina Campbell and by brothers Orville and Archie Jones. Mildred worked at CKNX radio for several years as a receptionist and in the writing department. She was a member of Wingham Baptist Church and her fondest passion was her flower gardens. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Sunday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Wingham Baptist Church on Monday at 2:00 pm. Pastor Gary Fischer officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario.
