Obituary of Irene Florence Alena Brown

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Thursday, September 04, 2008, Mrs. Irene Brown of Wroxeter, age 69 years. The former Irene Blake beloved wife of Bob Brown. Dear mother of Sharon and Clark Galbraith of Listowel. Loving grandmother of Brad and Colin. Also survived by sisters Emily Miles of Durham, Edith Adams of RR#3 Durham and Margaret and Gerald Roane of Barrie. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Electa (Mervyn) Blake and her daughter Brenda Brown in 1974. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Friday, 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 2:00 pm. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment in Wroxeter Cemetery, Howick Township. Memorial donations to Wroxeter United Church or ALS Society of Ontario would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
