Obituary of Jean Deyell

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Friday, August 21, 2009, Mrs. Jean Deyell of Wingham, age 88 years. The former Jean Johnston, beloved wife of the late Percy Deyell who predeceased her in 1980. Dear mother of Tom and Brenda Deyell of Wingham. Loving grandmother of Greg (Denise), Ryan and Eric (Christa) Deyell and great-grandmother of Rhody and Tori. Also survived by her sisters Mary Martin of Wingham and Doris and Bert Moss of St. Augustine. sisters-in-law Ruth Johnston, Nell Johnston and Della Quinn. Predeceased by her parents Mark and Mary (Conley) Johnston, her brothers Keith, Wayne, Lloyd, Everett and Clifford Johnston and by her sister Vera Hodgins. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Monday, 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Reverend Perry Chuipka officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Wingham and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
