Obituary of Gladys Elizabeth Smith

At Clinton Public Hospital, on Friday, July 02, 2010, Gladys Smith of Brussels, formerly of Wingham, age 96 years. The former Gladys Shaw, beloved wife of the late James Albert Smith who predeceased her in 1997. Dear mother of Mary and Will Cummings of Kingsville, Teresa and David Brown of Ruthven, Margaret Smith of London, James Smith of Kitchener and Michael and Gail Smith of Orono. Loving grandmother of Daniel, Michael, Robert and Douglas. Also survived by two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents John and Elizabeth Shaw, an infant son, two brothers and four sisters. Private funeral service will be held at McBurney Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 5th, 2010. Father K.P Morrison officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
