Obituary of Thomas Edward Powell

Peacefully at Heritage House Nursing Home, in the loving presence of his family, on Friday, May 28, 2010, Mr. T. Edward Powell of St. Jacobs, formerly of Turnberry Township age 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Joyce (White) Powell, who predeceased him in 2008. Dear father of Thomas Powell (Mona) of London, Karen Robineau (Roger) of Oakville and Marjorie Moore (Mike) of Aurora. Lovingly remembered by eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Brother of Mary Seddon of Fonthill and Della Quinn of Kincardine. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Edith (Jenkins) Powell, his daughters Rosie (1966) and Susie Metzger (2007), Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Tuesday, from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm. Reverend Wayne B. Beamer officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
