Obituary of Roderick William Charles McKay

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Friday, August 06, 2010, Mr. Charles McKay of Wingham, age 70 years. Beloved husband of the former Joanne Cobb. Dear father of Danny and Patricia McKay of Brussels, Billy McKay and Sue Jones of Calgary and Kathy and Lyle Campbell of Bluevale. Son of Emma (Krohn) McKay and the late George McKay. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren, Krys Campbell and friend Jaimee TenPas, Kyle Campbell & Keshia Carter, Krista and Katelyn McKay. Also survived by sisters-in-law Louise and Bob Hallahan of Bramalee and Janet and Lou Wing of Lakefield. Predeceased by his brother David McKay in 1990 and granddaughter Kelsey Campbell in 1996. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Sunday, 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Monday at 1:30 pm. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
