In Porter, Indiana, on Saturday, January 07, 2017, Doug Harkness of Wingham, age 71 years. Cherished husband of Connie (Foxton) Hickey. Loving father of Terry & Carol-Ann Harkness of Alliston, Tim Harkness & Lori Van noort of Tottenham, Darin Hickey of London, and Dwayne & Rhonda Hickey of Wingham. Dear grandpa of Shawna, Nick, and Sydney Harkness, Lauren & Jordan Sutherland, Natasha and Alannah Hickey and two great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by special niece Leigh Harkness. Brother of Jean Mair, Gary & Marlene Harkness, Ivan & Lyla Harkness and Rick & Laura Harkness. Brother-in-law of Dianne & Don Cameron, Jo-Ann & Gord Rintoul, Bob & Marlene Foxton and Shirley, Betty and Grace Foxton. Predeceased by his parents James & Florence Harkness, and brothers-in-law Gary Mair, and Ron, Ted, Ken, Doug, Bruce and Bud Foxton. A Celebration of Doug's Life will be will be held on Sunday at the Royal Canadian Legion, Br.180, Wingham, from 1:00-4:00 pm with special remembrances at 3:00 pm.
