Obituary of Jean Elizabeth Walker

At her residence on Sunday, November 13, 2011, Jean Walker of Wingham, age 85 years. The former Jean Leaver, beloved wife of Howard Walker. Dear mother of Joyce and Murray Vincent of Belgrave, Glen Walker and Joanne Cook of East Wawanosh and Cheryl and Brent Foxton of Wingham. Loving grandmother of Dean and Barb, Jayne and David, Vaughn, Todd and Christine, Jody, Matthew , Cody and Chad. Also survived by her sister Evelyn and David Hackett of Lucknow and twelve great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Alexander and Lavina (King) Leaver and her sister Doris Leaver in childhood. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Thursday, 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday at 1:30 pm. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Wingham and District Hospital Foundation or the Wingham United Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
