Obituary of Shirley Yvonne Simmons

At London Health Sciences Centre, on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, Mrs. Shirley Simmons of Wingham, age 75 years. The former Shirley Steuernol, beloved wife of the late Wes Simmons who predeceased her in 2006. Dear mother of Larry Simmons of Wingham and Bradley and Barbara Simmons of Kitchener. Loving grandmother of Valerie, Corey, Brandon and Breanne Simmons. Sister of Marilyn Schiestel, Joyce Gardner and June Murray all of Wingham, Carol Scott of Owen Sound, Geraldine Tremain of Belmore, Barbara Williamson and friend Nick Contini of Guelph, Janet and Robert Hymers of Clifford and Bonnie and Hughie MacDonald of Tilbury. Predeceased by her brother Elmer Steuernol and her granddaughter Natasha Simmons. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Friday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:30 pm. Reverend Bernard Skelding officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to SickKids Foundation or the Parkinsons Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
