Obituary of Dawson H. Pollock

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Sunday, February 20, 2011, Mr. Dawson Pollock of Wingham, age 85 years. Beloved husband of the former Joyce Armstrong. Dear father of Brian and Cheryl Pollock of Kitchener and Robert and Carol Pollock of Erin. Loving grandfather of Darryl and Christine Pollock of Brampton, Melissa and Chris Schuett of Waterloo, Megan Pollock of Waterloo and Jennifer Pollock of Hamilton. Great grandfather of Arya Schuett and Violet Pollock. Also survived by his brother Wally and Elaine Pollock of Ripley, sister Lucille Fischer of Ripley and sister-in-law Lois Pollock of Ripley. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Sophia (Haug) Pollock and by his brothers Melville, Clarence and Lorne (WWII). Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Tuesday, 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Wingham United Church on Wednesday at 1:30 pm. Reverend Richard D. Hall officiating. Interment in Ripley Cemetery, Ripley, Ontario. Memorial donations to Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or Wingham United Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
