Obituary of S. Kathleen Moffat

At Lakeshore Lodge Retirement Home, Toronto, on Thursday, June 16, 2011, Kathleen Moffat of Toronto and formerly of Wingham, age 94 years. The former Kathleen MacKenzie, beloved wife of the late Farrish Moffat who predeceased her in 1993. Loving mother of Gordon and Susan Moffat of Thorold. Dear grandmother of Kristen and Michael Sousa. Predeceased by her parents Alexander and Sarah (Elliott) MacKenzie. Kathleen was a Past District Deputy Grand Matron of District 8, a Past Matron and the grand representative of Michigan in Ontario with the Eastern Star. She also served as the secretary of the Huron Chapter # 89 for 20 years. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Sunday, 2:00-4:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Monday at 2:00 pm. Reverend Bernard Skelding officiating. Interment in Culross-Teeswater Cemetery, Culross Township. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
