At Ritz Lutheran Villa, Mitchell on Saturday, July 23, 2011, Mrs. Margaret McVittie of Mitchell, and formerly Braemar Retirement Centre, age 90 years. The former Margaret Barrie, beloved wife of the late Mel McVittie. Dear mother of Ernest and Karen McVittie of Goderich and Jean and Tom Eckert of R R # 1 Dublin. Loving grandmother of Bradley, Scott and Darcy McVittie, Paul and fiancé Vanessa Graham and Brian Eckert. Great-grandmother of Mark, Samantha, Drew, Grace, Myles and Abby. Sister of Bruce and Eileen Barrie of Kitchener and Lorna and Bert Lyddiatt of Waterloo. Predeceased by her parents James and Flora (Mackey) Barrie and by her brother Robert Barrie. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Monday from 12:00 noon until the time of Funeral service at 2:00 pm. Reverend Richard D. Hall officiating. Interment in Blyth Union Cemetery, Blyth. Memorial donations to Charity of Choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
