At Wingham & District Hospital, on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, Marjorie McKenzie of Wingham, age 76 years. The former Marjorie Wilkinson, beloved wife of the late Captain John McKenzie who predeceased her in 1999. Dear mother of Terry Salmon of Burgoyne, Eric and Laura McKenzie of St. Catherines, Ken and Cathy McKenzie of Wingham, MaryAnne and Tom Thompson of Kincardine, Catherine and Allan Fischer of Mildmay, Robert and Kim Watson-McKenzie of Walkerton and Cheryl Stangen of Wingham. Loving grandmother of seventeen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Sister of Donna Wilson of Kincardine and Sharon and George Skinn of Wingham. Predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Margaret (Mighton) Wilkinson, sister Joan Wissler and daughter-in-law Sharon McKenzie. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Thursday, 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday at 1:00 pm. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
