At Bluevale on Saturday, August 27, 2011, Mr. Barrie Machan of Wingham, age 71 years. Dear father of Donna and Paul Evans of Fergus, David and Barbara Machan of Wingham and Dan and Charmayne Machan of Bluevale. Loving grandfather of Cole and Kailyn Evans, Christina and David Overholt, Kyle (Jenelle Smith) and Shep Machan. Great-grandfather of Alexis Machan. Brother of Lloyd (Marion), Doug (Florence), Carmen (Sandra), Dale (Ruth), Gordon (Jane), and Lawrence Machan, Shirley (George) Wheeler, Joan (Bob) Barwick, Maxine (Bill) Robinson, Gail (John) Currie, Darlene (Wayne) Becker, Ann (Jack) Vincent, Dianne Machan & Jim Alton and Pat (Ken) Mathers. Brother-in-law of Martina Machan and Jim and Jean Fox. Also survived by Grace Phillips. Predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Violet (Jacklin) Machan and by his brother Clarence (Joe) Machan. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Tuesday, 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 1 :00 pm. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment in Brussels Cemetery. Memorial donations to Alcohol Anonymous would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
