At Wingham & District Hospital, on Thursday, August 16, 2012, Syke Sutherland of Whitechurch age 62 years. The former Syke de Jong beloved wife of Jim Sutherland of Whitechurch. Dear mother of Tanya and Brett Sangster of Wingham, Amy and Gary St. Clair of Goderich and Jayme Sutherland and Raphael Koskamp of Wingham . Loving grandmother of Emma, Ethan, Ewen and Elleah Sangster and Mya and Ava St. Clair. Sister of Johanna and Bill Searle, Nikki and Eric Exel, Janet and Paul Gunter, Gert and Ruth de Jong. Also remembered by her sisters-in-law Sue and Norm Gamble and Janice Greenaway. Predeceased by her parents Jelle and Gerda (Dykstra) de Jong, and by her parents-in-law James and Bea Sutherland. Visitation at Lucknow Christian Reformed Church, Lucknow, Ontario on Sunday, from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the church on Monday at 2:00 pm. Pastor Rita Klein-Geltink officiating. Interment in South Kinloss Cemetery, Kinloss Township. Memorial donations to Wingham & District Hospital Foundation - Chemotherapy Unit would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
