Obituary of Murray Cameron Stainton

At Wingham & District Hospital on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, Murray Stainton of Wingham, age 82 years. Beloved husband of Louise (Hawthorne) Stainton. Loving father of Diane Clubb and her husband Bill of Kincardine, Maureen Stainton of London, Bruce Stainton and his wife Anne of Wingham and Timothy Stainton of Toronto. Dear grandfather of Liza (fiancé Conor), William, Rory, Tyrus and Lara Clubb, Michael and Emma Fowler and Lauren and Ian Stainton. Brother of Neil and Lois Stainton of Scarborough and Barbara Stainton of Wingham. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Percy and Irene (Gosling) Stainton, by infant son Cameron Steven in 1954, by his sisters Irene Bernice Stainton and Marlene Danchuk and by his brother Maurice Stainton and sister-in-law Hilda Stainton. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Friday 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Wingham United Church on Saturday at 11:00 am. Reverend Richard D. Hall officiating. Memorial donations to Childhood Cancer Canada or North Huron Community Food Share would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
