Obituary of Christine Laird

At Braemar, Wingham on February 11, 2012, Mrs. Christine Laird age 85 years. The former Christine Boettcher, beloved wife of Peter Laird. Mother of Monica and Norman Wattam of Clinton and Harold and Darleen Wattam of Moorefield. Also survived by her sister Martha in Germany, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Heinrich and Henriette (Peaches) Boettcher and two brothers. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Monday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Wingham United Church on Tuesday at 1:30 pm. Reverend Richard D. Hall officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Wingham and District Hospital Foundation or Wingham United Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
