At Braemar, Wingham, on Sunday, December 16, 2012, Marie Higgins of Wroxeter age 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Stewart Higgins who predeceased her in 2009. Cherished mother of Ronald and Shirley Higgins of Stratford, Bill and Ruth Ann Higgins of Guelph and Paul and Rilla Higgins of St. Joseph Island. Dear grandma of Karen and Clive, Terry and Brenda, Wanda and Kent, Andrea and Erik, Andrew and Kerri, Michael and Allison, Matthew, Virginia, and Suzanne. Great-grandma of Sara, Erin, Alex, Jamie, Daniel, Kevin, Amanda and Trevor, Shauna and Scott, Kaeleigh, Kelsey, Jack and Will. Great-great-grandma of Elizabeth, Shayne, Max and William. Sister-in-law of Minerva Baker of Ottawa. Predeceased by her brother Lawson Doig and his wife Margaret, sister Nellie and her husband Reverend Arthur Leggett and sister-in-law Velma and her husband Frank Graham and brother-in-law Earl Baker. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Tuesday, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 1:30 pm. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment in Wroxeter Cemetery, Howick Township.
