At Wingham & District Hospital on Sunday, February 12, 2012, Mrs. Joyce Gardner of Wingham, age 79 years. The former Joyce Steuernol, beloved wife of the late Ivan Gardner who predeceased her in 2010. Dear mother of Richard and Linda Gardner of Bright and Barry Gardner of Kitchener. Loving grandmother of Shelley and David Muskiluke and Brett and Susan Gardner. Great-grandmother of Portia, Anya, Trey, Nate and Allie. Sister of Marilyn Schiestel and June Murray both of Wingham, Carol Scott of Owen Sound, Geraldine Tremain of Belmore, Barbara Williamson and friend Nick Contini of Guelph, Janet and Robert Hymers of Clifford and Bonnie and Hughie MacDonald of Tilbury. Predeceased by parents, Elmer and Verna (Rominger) Steuernol, her daughter-in -law Mary her brother Elmer Steuernol. and her sister Shirley Simmons. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of funeral service at 11:00 in the funeral home chapel. Reverend Bernard Skelding officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or to McMaster Children's Hospital Hemophilia Clinic would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
