At Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home, Lucknow on Tuesday, June 04, 2013, Anne Thompson of Lucknow, formerly of Wingham age 81 years. The former Anne Chamney beloved wife of the late Sam Thompson who predeceased her in 2004. Loving mother of John and Joyce Thompson of R.R. # 2, Lucknow, Susan and Gordon Haggitt of Blyth, Murray and Doreen Thompson of R.R. # 1, Belgrave, Ellen and Ron Huya of Buffalo NY., and Julie Thompson of London. Lovingly remembered by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Cecil and Beatrice Chamney, and by her daughter Jane Bromley in 1999. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Thursday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11:00 am. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Wingham & District Hospital, Wingham United Church, or Alzheimer Society of Huron County would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
