At Hospice Wellington, Guelph on Friday, May 03, 2013, Mae Shaver of Wingham, formerly of Belmore, age 69 years. The former Mae Corkum, wife of the late Tom Shaver who predeceased her in 2005. Dear mother of Deborah and Robert Deforest of Grand Valley, Ted Shaver of Guelph and Phillip Shaver of British Columbia. Loving grandmother of Todd, Mark, Ashley, Brittany, Kimberley, Teresa and Ted Jr. Great-grandmother of Abby, Peyton and Sierra. Sister of Margaret McCauley of British Columbia, Marlene Atkinson of Alberta, Jim and Linda Corkum of Orillia, Evelyn Atkinson of Hamilton, Linda and Doug Hitchcock of Guelph and Gary Corkum of Saskatchewan. Cherished friend of Jean Press, Janet Hubbard, Marion Taylor, Bill and Doreen Taylor, Tharon Riley, Cookie O'Drico and Carla and Lenard Jones. Predeceased by her brother Bobbie Corkum. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, on Monday, from 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 2:00 pm. Reverend Richard Hall officiating.
