At Gilbert Hall Retirement Home, Wingham on Wednesday, November 06, 2013, Mrs. Freda Scott of Belgrave, age 83 years. The former Freda Hunter, wife of the late Malcolm Scott who predeceased her in 1990. Dear mother of Dianne and Garry McWhirter of Lucan. Loving grandmother of Bryana McWhirter and Jace McLaughlin and Cody McWhirter and Kelsey Rummell. Sister-in-law of Isabel McMillan of Listowel, Nora Robb of Lucknow and Mary and Leonard Eccles of Mount Forest. Predeceased by her son Donald in 1973, brother John Hunter, sister Rena Menary and baby sister Doris Hunter. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Friday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am, Mr. Les Cook officiating. Interment in Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave, Ontario. Memorial donations to Gilbert Hall, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or Canadian Women's Foundation - Purple Ribbon Campaign would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
