At Wingham & District Hospital on Sunday, January 06, 2013, Shirley McAllister of Wingham, formerly of Teeswater, age 82 years. The former Shirley Yeoman, beloved wife of the late Stewart Grant (1959), and the late Mervin McAllister (2010). Dear mother of Karen and Dale Wardley of Barrie and Gail and Paul Heffer of Wingham. Loving grandmother of Krista & Matthew Dunn , Daniel Wardley & fiancée Julie, Rachel Heffer & fiancé Dan, Ashley & Matthew Snow and Joelle Heffer. Great-grandmother of Cooper Dunn. Sister-in-law of Anne Yeoman and Noreen Haines both of Wingham. Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Hazel (Forester) Yeoman, her brother Cecil Yeoman, sister-in-law Olive McBurney and brothers-in-law Carman Haines and Jack McBurney. Private funeral service will be held at the McBurney Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday. Reverend Hannah Lee officiating. Interment in Culross-Teeswater Cemetery, Culross Township. Memorial donations to Teeswater United Church, the Parkinson Foundation or Wingham Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
