At Braemar Retirement Centre, Wingham, on Wednesday, January 02, 2013, Mrs. Reta Mason of Wingham, age 92 years. The former Reta Stapleton, beloved wife of the late Alfred Mason who predeceased her in 1992. Dear mother of Mary Anne and Harold Gordon of Arkona and Douglas and Leslie Mason of London. Loving grandmother of Jonathon Gordon and Sarah Frank of Strathroy, Kendra and Brian McDougall of Strathroy and Melissa and Don Christopher of London. Great-grandmother of Damon, Christopher, Laura, Marley and Charlotte. Sister of Ken Stapleton of Wingham, Anne Brown of Nepean, Wade and Alice Stapleton of Wingham and Mary St. Martin of Nepean. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents James and Isabella (Austin) Stapleton and her brother Bill Stapleton. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd. on Saturday from 1:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm. Reverend Bernard Skelding officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham Ontario. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
